Campitello di Fassa means amazing landscape, sport and traditions in the Dolomites, in Trentino

Campitello di Fassa, located in the “Ladin” area. It has less than a thousend inhabitants and it is famous for the Sassolungo’s peaks and for the ski and snowboard slopes of the Dolomiti Superski ski area. A modern lift system allows you to make the Sellaronda circuit arount Sella Mount.

In Campitello, in the “Caseificio Sociale”, a place where they sell those products, cheese “Ciampadel de Fascia” is made, which has a really strong taste and for this reason, it is producted only in really small portions.

In Campitello and in the places nearby, it is possible to eat typical products and traditional dishes such as “polenta”, cooked in a copper pot, chopping boards full of  cold cuts and cheese, “canederli”, barely soup, the traditional “cajoncie” ravioli, “crauti” with sasauges, ribs and pork, “strudel”, apple fritter and “fortaes”, fried dessert with a characteristic snail shape, all home made. Those are the signs of a vacation which is not only dedicated to winter sports, relax and walks, but also to a good cooking.
